1.8 - Drunken Debauchery
Explained by Mingy.
Hey guys! Not much to explain here really. First I think I should mention that Anya isn't just a waitress in this bar - she's the owner. I think this may be important later on, but who knows.

Secondly, Deranged Hermit is this cool card from Urza's Legacy. For (I think) four mana, he's a 2/2 green creature that counts as an elf. He has this wacky mechanic called 'Echo' which means that you have to pay his casting cost again on the turn after he comes into play, or else he dies. It's like paying for the creature in two installments. What's special about the Hermit is that when he comes into play, he brings along four 1/1 Squirrel tokens. Oh yeah, he also gives all Squirrels in play a +1/+1 bonus, so in reality he brings along four 2/2 Squirrels. This is pretty impressive, and multiple Hermits is a great way to get lots of little annoying creatures into play. Although if you pay the Echo cost on all the Hermits, you don't have lots of little annoying creatures, but lots of BIG annoying creatures. Very dangerous...for your opponent, that is.
